Pokémon Cosmic Eclipse Sampler Packs for Pokemon Vending

Evergreen Chase Set · Sun & Moon era · Released November 2019 · Out of print

The Cosmic Eclipse Sampler is reserved for VTM Vending customers stocking Pokemon vending machines. This is not a standard sealed booster of one set. It is a curated, sealed 3-card sampler built from Pokémon TCG Sun & Moon Cosmic Eclipse, sized as a lower cost-per-vend, fast-turnover option for high-traffic routes. Set your retail with the Operator Economics below before you load a single coil.

Cosmic Eclipse was the grand finale of the Sun & Moon era, loaded with collector-famous TAG TEAM GX heavy hitters like Arceus & Dialga & Palkia GX, Reshiram & Charizard GX, and the rainbow-rare Solgaleo & Lunala GX. That name recognition keeps customers coming back to the machine. Every 3-card sampler is sized to vend cleanly through standard 22mm coils, so it drops without jamming across our Pokemon vending machine lineup.

Real route data backs this category: operators have vended 4,100+ Pokemon packs in a single 30-day window at a roughly $19 average vend price. New to the category or scaling a route? Our Pokemon vending guide covers how to source packs, price them for margin, and place machines that profit.

Why Cosmic Eclipse for Pokemon Vending

  • Chase-card pull through. Cosmic Eclipse carries headline TAG TEAM GX cards like Arceus & Dialga & Palkia GX and Reshiram & Charizard GX plus rainbow rares such as Solgaleo & Lunala GX, the kind of names that pull customers back to your Pokemon vending machines.
  • Lower cost-per-vend. The curated 3-card sampler format means a lower per-vend cost and faster pack turnover than a full booster, ideal for high-traffic routes where vend velocity matters.
  • Drop-in ready. Each sampler is sized for standard 22mm coils and ships nationwide to all 50 states, packed to protect against bent corners and damage. No machine adjustments needed.
  • Pair with our Top-Loader Vending Cases (50 Pack) for jam-free vending

Build the coil mix: run the Cosmic Eclipse sampler as your Sun & Moon era slot, then pair it with a vault-tier anchor like Pokémon Hidden Fates booster packs and a current-era draw like Pokémon Chaos Rising booster packs, so every price point on the keypad gives customers a reason to come back.

FAQ for Pokémon Cosmic Eclipse Booster Packs

What is in a Cosmic Eclipse Sampler and how many cards does it hold?

Each Cosmic Eclipse Sampler is a curated, sealed 3-card mini-pack drawn from the Pokémon TCG Sun & Moon Cosmic Eclipse set. It is not a standard 10-card sealed booster. The sampler format gives operators a lower per-vend cost and faster pack turnover.

What are the chase cards in Cosmic Eclipse?

Cosmic Eclipse is known for its TAG TEAM GX and secret rare hits. The most sought-after include Arceus & Dialga & Palkia GX (the set's top alternate full-art chase), Reshiram & Charizard GX, and the rainbow-rare Solgaleo & Lunala GX. Because this is a curated assortment, individual cards are not guaranteed in any single sampler.

Is Cosmic Eclipse still worth stocking in a Pokemon vending machine in 2026?

Yes. As the out-of-print grand finale of the Sun & Moon era, Cosmic Eclipse name recognition keeps pulling collectors, and the 3-card sampler format turns faster than a full booster. The Operator Economics grid above tracks the listed price on this page.

How much profit can I make vending Cosmic Eclipse packs?

Suggested vend follows VTM Vending's standard formula: (listed price x 1.20) + $5, rounded up to the nearest dollar. The Operator Economics grid above tracks the listed price on this page for current price, vend, profit per pack, and margin. Figures are before payment processing and venue revenue share.

Why are these packs reserved for VTM Vending customers?

Cosmic Eclipse Sampler inventory is reserved for VTM Vending machine customers: current operators, or new buyers purchasing a Pokemon vending machine in the same order. This keeps pack supply available for active vending routes rather than resale.

Will Cosmic Eclipse packs fit my Pokemon vending machine?

Yes. Cosmic Eclipse packs are sized to vend cleanly through the standard 22mm coils built into VTM's Pokemon vending machine lineup, so no machine adjustments are needed.

Are these packs sealed?

Yes. Every Cosmic Eclipse Sampler is a sealed 3-card mini-pack sourced through legitimate distribution channels. Note that it is a curated sampler assortment rather than a standard single-set sealed booster, so it is ready to load directly into your Pokemon vending machine.

Do you ship Pokémon booster packs nationwide?

VTM Vending ships Pokémon Cosmic Eclipse booster packs to all 50 states, packed to protect against bent corners and damage.

How it vends

22mm coil, product pusher, top-loader case

VTM machines do not need an elevator or a robotic arm to deliver cards. A specialized 22mm coil paired with a rigid top-loader pack case does the job, and a product pusher keeps the row feeding forward. Traditional trading card kiosks move product with robotic arms or elevator systems and run $10,000 to $20,000 before you vend a single pack. VTM engineered a purpose-built coil that relies on proven spiral vending, so the lineup runs $2,850 to $5,000.

The same coil, case, and pusher system is sized to each machine's tray. Wall-mounted machines come with a mounting bracket and hardware and can also be bolted to a pedestal stand to stand on the floor. Machines ship unwrapped; TCG wraps are sold separately at VTM Vending.

Operator questions

Running a VTM machine

Do I need a license to operate a Pokémon vending machine?
No. Pokémon trading card products are unregulated consumer goods. You do not need age verification, special licensing, or franchise approval, which makes card vending far simpler than age-restricted categories like vape or alcohol. If you can run a vending route, you can run Pokémon vending.
Is it legal to sell Pokémon cards from a vending machine?
Yes. Under the United States First Sale Doctrine, the lawful purchaser of a genuine product can resell it through any legal retail channel without permission from the brand owner. Sealed product bought through legitimate channels can be resold on shelves, in kiosks, and in vending machines.
Can I manage Cosmic Eclipse pricing remotely?
Yes. VTM Software gives you real-time sales, inventory, and pricing control from any device. You can change the vend price of Cosmic Eclipse, see which rows are running low, pull revenue reports, and track several locations without visiting a machine.
What payment methods do VTM machines accept?
Every machine ships with Nayax VPOS Touch payment hardware that accepts credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. Payment processing costs 3.5% plus 20¢ per transaction, with real-time reporting through Nayax and VTM Software.
How much does it cost to run a VTM machine per month?
The software is free for the first 3 months, then $29 per machine per month. You also pay location commission (typically 10% of revenue), payment processing (3.5% plus 20¢ per transaction), and a small amount of electricity. The machine itself you own outright.
Where do Pokémon vending machines perform best?
High-foot-traffic locations with a mix of impulse buyers and collectors: gas stations, convenience stores, arcades, bowling alleys, family entertainment centers, hobby shops, and mall kiosks. Locations with younger customers and families tend to outperform a standard convenience store.
